COUGHLIN NAMES HONORED SIR AURORA, 111., May 7.— J. J. Coughlin, Chicago alderman and owner of a stable of thoroughbreds, nominated the chestnut colt Honored Sir, by Stimulus — Latest Fashion, for the Illinois Derby, which comes up for decision on May 22, and features the climax of the Fox Valley Jockey Clubs nineteen-day meeting. Honored Sir made his initial appearance of the Illinois season in the feature race on Thursdays program here. The three-year-old is being prepped for his engagements by R. E. Hefferan.
