ALMARINP, well handled and away well, responded fast after three-eichths, took command nearing the final eighth, swerved to the inside in the last eighth and wen easily. SOMEONK ELSE, a strong factor from the start, forged to the front approaching the stretch, gave way to the winner, but held IRISH FORD safe. The latter moved up fast after five sixteenths, lost ground enterinc the stretch and held on well. OUR BUD had no mishaps. BRILLIANT LIGHT took command under hustling tactics and tired after a half mile. GRAY JACK showed little. HAPPY RHINOCK was never a factor. FOYOT sprinted into a lone lead early, was put to good pressure in the final eighth, but tired fast near the end. LADY COMRADE, well up from the start, dropped back entering the stretch, but came again in the late states. LEEORAN, on the outside and forced to lose ground from the start, finished well. SHINING JEWEL took command under hustling tactics, saved ground throughout, gave way approaching the final eighth, came again under stronger pressure and outfinished HARPER. The latter, outrun early, •was steered to the outside entering the stretch and was fast wcaiine down the winner at the end. ROBERTA forced the pace under good urging, swung wide entering the stretch, took command neaiing the final eighth, but tired in the last stases. FOOLHARDY, well up from the start and on the inside, held on gamely. OURAY, fractious and beginning from outside of the stalls, lost ground throughout and showed a good effort. BROWN WITCH was outrun. KING CICERO i.iade up ground. ABBY B. began from outside of the stalls and showed nothing. MY GOODNESS, fast to begin, was pinched back at the far turn, moved up fast when clear and held on well. UVALDE, shuffled back soon after the start, was sent to the inside for the drive and closed with a rush. EPITOME, forced back early, lost ground thereafter and held on well. FRITZ HALLAM came over sharply soon after the break, but gave way rapidly after attaining a big lead. SHEATHE was forced back early and showed nothing thereafter. HUM was outrun.
