W. BROWN ENJOYS FIELD DAY Turns in Remarkable Exhibition of Horsemanship at Riverside Park Happy Venture Victorious. KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 2 Giving one of the most consistent exhibitions of riding ever seen- at any track, jockey W. Brown brought another outsider, Happy Venture, home in the fourth race to score his fourth straight victory of the afternoon. Browns riding has been the brightest seen in many a day on the American turf and, while he does not rate with the great jockeys of the present time, this feat of four straight winners in the first four races will go down as one of the best exhibitions of horsemanship of the 1936 racing season. Bright, sunny skies were the order for todays racing at Riverside Park and another large crowd was-on hand to witness an excellent days sport. The track was rapidly drying out from the recent rains, but was still on the slow side when the horses went to the post for the initial race.
