FORE ISUS TRIUMPHS AGAIN Earns Third Purse at Dufferin Crowd of 15,000 Views Final Days Sport. TORONTO, Out, Oct. 24. Fifteen thousand race enthusiasts packed the half-mile oval of Dufferin Park here this afternoon to witness the final days sport in the Dominion of Canada for the 1936 season. The feature offering, the Canadian Tire Corpora-: tion Purse, allowance affair, brought a field of eight home-bred juveniles to contest the about five furlongs distance. M. R. Cowells Fore Isus, daughter of Frisius and Forecast II., was returned the winner in handy fashion when she led to the finish by a length and one-half margin, P. Delaneys Balaxy. It was Fore Isus third victory of the meeting in four starts. Third place went to G. B. Foleys Cave Boy which was two and one-half lengths back and two before H. C. Hatchs Budron. Moores Gift, Goanwin, Cu-vanna and Royal Yacht made up the field and finished in the named order. The racing strip was in a slow condition while the racing was run under cloudy skies with the sun making its appearance at frequent intervals. R. Fair rated the Cowell miss in close attendance of the speedy Balaxy for the first half mile and snugging her along on the outside of the leader until they had straightened away on the stretch for the final drive, then taking command with a rush, drew clear as the finish line was crossed. Balaxy set the pace from the start, held on gamely in the final drive but was unable to contend with the winners closing rush. Cave Boy raced third for most of the trip and although placed to stiff punishment was never able to threaten the leading pair. Budron was carried wide at the first turn then made i up ground to land in fourth place. J
