SYLVIA G. was under strong pressure all during the running and held on well to the end. FAIR TIME was rushed up fast to gain a short lead midway of the turn, but finished in the deeper footing through the final drive and tired. QUEEN GOVANS snowed a good effort. MAFUTA assumed command soon after leaving the back stretch, was kept out of the better footing and rallied when shaken up in the final eighth to draw out approaching the end. LEGAL DANCE raced on the outside and finished courageously under punishment. HAPPY CHASE was placed to punishment when reaching the stretch, but tired gradually. PARLOR TRICK was stoutly ridden, but was not good enough after racing close up. HYDRANGEA could not better her position. MISS McKAY and SCHLEY NURSE both raced very greenly. The latter, racing on the inside, gained fast in the last five-sixteenths and finished fast when taken to the outside in the final eighth. CHILLY EBBIE displayed nice speed while setting the pace, saved ground all the way, but tired during the final drive. SEA GULL lacked speed to be prominent. REAL JAM, rated along for three-quarters, took command when ready, but tired under punishment in the final drive. I1EADIN HOME was overhauled at the final turn, but held on willingly to the end. NEW DEAL was sent up fast after breaking slowly, challenged strongly midway of the final turn and held on stoutly to the end. MUCHO GUSTO forced a steady pace while under slight restraint, but failed to rally when put to a drive. KENTY went stoutly while in the thick of contention for seven-eichths. WESTON was rated along while setting the pace, but was not good enough when shaken up. QUINCY could not untrack himself in the footing. Scratched 38561 Jackie D., 95. HAPPY FLAG, slow to get into full stride, closed gamely in the late stages. INFILEE had no excuses. DEPARTED was done early. SOME BULL did not favor the going.
