SIR THOMAS, fast to stait but unable to keep up, was put to strong urging in the stretch and finished well. ALWIN-TOUR tired. CLARIFY tired after reaching the lead. HEELFLY, fractious and away slowly, was hustled to the lead, increased his advantage after five-sixteenths, held on gamely when challenged and tired near the end.
