WARN AGAINST ROUGH RIDING LOUISVILLE Ky May 6 The stewards at Churchill Downs do not intend to tolerate rough riding of any sort Heretofore in fea ¬ ture races riders have done some unethical things while driving down for the rich purse but this year any one caught riding rough may find himself under long suspension The stewards today clamped down on Willie Garner and suspended him for the remainder of the meeting for rough riding in the eighth race Wednesday This order should serve as a warning to the other jockeys of what they may expect If they get gay in the saddle
