MORE THAN 800 MEN IN DERBY MUTUEL PLANT PLANTLOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE Ky May 6 More than 800 men will comprise the staff of Erwin A Wiedekamp manager of the Churchill Downs parimutuel department to accommodate the many thousand patrons expected tomorrow for the Kentucky Derby DerbyNumerous Numerous changes have been made in the Downs plant to improve accommodations the most important move having been the addition of a large room on the mezzanine level of the grandstand Persons having seats in the grandstand will not have to go down to the main ring for wagering pur ¬ poses as heretofore Accommodations in the clubhouse also have been changed for the bettor and wager ¬ ing facilities will be available on each of the three levels levelsWeidekamp Weidekamp stated today that his staff would be composed of 586 sellers and cash ¬ iers sixty clickers fortytwo takeoff men nine calculators sixty men in the money room and forty in the ticket room Addi ¬ tional employes include messengers and run ¬ ners Ernie White is Weidekamps chief assistant assistantWith With pleasant conditions tomorrow Weide ¬ kamp looks for the mutuel play to be close to the 2000000 mark
