striking distance of the pace loomed up threateningly approaching the furlong post but was unable to improve her position thereafter BRIGHT DON closed some ground TAP ON was outpaced for the first half mile and closed a good gap thereafter LOYAL SON had good speed for the first fiveeighths stopping tiadly in the last sixteenth DOE GIRL weakened after showing good speed for a half mile GAYETTE
