BRADBURY BILL PASSES HOUSE AUSTIN Texas June 1 The Bradbury racing repeal bill passed the lower house in special session today by a vote of 116 to 16 The real battle was expected to begin on the floor of the senate this afternoon on receipt of the Nelson bill an almost identical meas ¬ ure which was reported out of committee late yesterday by a 7 to 5 vote The Bradbury measure as passed by the house carries the authors amendment eliminating provisions against betting in handbooks The reason lor this is to strike out anything not covered by the governors call A later call is to re ¬ quest such legislation if the repeal bill passes
