RULINGS AND SUSPENSIONS AT AURORA Rulings and suspensions made by the stewards during the recent meeting of the Fox Valley Jockey Club at Aurora were an ¬ nounced today by George H Foster secre ¬ tary of the Illinois Racing Commission The rulings follow followMay May 13 Jockey W F Ward suspended five ridingMay days for rough riding May 14 Jockey D Barnett suspended five days for rough riding ridingMay May 17 Jockey A Barnett suspended five days ridingHarry for rough riding Harry Holman denied the privileges of the Fox Valley Jockey Club for conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing A recommendation was made to the Illinois Racing Commission that this suspension be made to include all tracks under their juris ¬ diction dictionJockey Jockey R Bonn was instructed to accept no more mounts at Aurora pending an in ¬ quiry into his touting activities during the Sportsmans Park meeting of 1936 Also his connection with Harry Holman during the Aurora meeting It is recommended that the Illinois Racing Commission extend the penalty to include all courses under their jurisdiction jurisdictionMay May 21 Jockey M Terry suspended for the remainder of the meeting for rough rid ¬ ing and a recommendation was made to the Illinois Racing Commission that the penalty be extended nine additional days Recom ¬ mendation approved May 24 24May May 22 The case of Jockey H Hauer for an aggravated display of foul riding re ¬ ferred to the Illinois Racing Commission with a recommendation that he be suspended for fifteen days Recommendation approved May 24
