1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES g . $ Alex Gordon, and Mrs. Gordon, who have been in Lexington for several days, left for Goshen, N. Y., Friday afternoon. From there they will go to New York City for the opening of the Empire State racing season at Jamaica. Knee Deep, Kentucky Derby and Blue Grass Stakes candidate, and Dellor, an eligible for the Ben Ali Handicap, headed the winter division of the J. W. Parrish stable which John M. and Jack Goode brought from Miami. Others in the stable are The Whale, Stock Whale, Stockboard, Genevra M., Jay Wire, T. Marcus, Entree, Woodsie, Backintime, Fameiob and an unnamed two-year-old. Tom B. Young, who is training the Kentucky Derby candidates, Congressman and Ball-O-Firc, is confined to his apartment suffering with a mild attack of influenza. Charles Zoeller is training Raymond, Domiworth and Bubbleworth for C. R. Jordan, widely known Blue Grass breeder and city official. Price Sallce shipped Listening and four two-year-olds to Churchill Downs to await the opening of that meeting. A. M. Jacobus arrived from Hot Springs with Mrs. Raymond Russells El Juez and Mrs. R. A. Shaws Baby Sis and Sleep Out. Jacobus received word that Mrs. Russell expects to arrive here next week and remain , for the greater part of the Keeneland season.
