1 BAY MEADOWS NOTES $ Trainer R. "Dick" Richards deemed it advisable to rest the two-year-olds of D. J. Davis until fall, so he sent Green Tea, Bronze Belle and Xingu to the Davis ranch at Cupertino, Calif. This left Richards with but two performers, namely, Kent and Cohort Miss, which he is training for A. P. Levi. " Trainer A. E. Silver disposed of the two-year-old Bosinich to H. A. Smith. Terms of the transaction .were private. Dr. Ira Barker Dalziel, veteran horse dentist, is filling the requests for his services as promptly as possible, which keeps the tooth wizard going at top speed. Dalziel is nationally known and specializes in the dentistry of thoroughbreds, though he is an accomplished veterinarian. Edwin J. Brown, president of the National Association of Racing Commissioners, was a recent arrival from Seattle. He was accompanied by Pat Duren, an official of the Washington State Racing Commission. . George Adams reports that three of his mares now at Pleasanton have foaled colts by Good and Hot. The matrons are Wee Drop, Uforme and Ruth Jelinek. William Crump, trainer for the extensive King Ranch stable, checked in Thursday with eight two-year-olds, which he left at Santa Anita. The juveniles were given quarters at Tanforan with others of the Crump string. Miss Marion Hollins, former champion golfer, is convalescing in a New York sanatorium, and is not expected to return to California until May. Miss Hollins was severely injured in an automobile accident last fall. She conducts a small breeding establishment at Santa Cruz, and is extensively engaged in the real estate industry in that vicinity. Trainer H. L. Robertson joined the army of unemployed yesterday, when the only horse he had left went to another stable via the claiming clause. This was the remainder of the string of two horses he brought here from Santa Anita, Shasta Racket having been claimed in his recent engagement. Robertson will probably obtain some horses to train soon, as it is his intention to open a public stable. Joseph Walters, a member of the official family at Inglewood meeting, came over for r few days, and while here will take up the stall applications, which are available. Walters will have the allotment of the stable reservations and at present there are 1,000 horses listed to go to the Hollywood Jockey "Clubs inaugural meeting.
