REMARKABLE, away in good shape, took command at once, bore out slightly rounding the final turn and won by a wide margin. DOCTORS ROSE, a forward factor early, moved up strongly after reaching the far turn and was going strongly at the finish, but was no match for the winner. LITTLE GAY, well back for a quarter, closed swiftly entering the stretch when put to a drive and got up in the final stride to get the show. CODOLL was rushed up on the outside rounding the first turn, was taken slightly wide by the winner entering the back stretch and held on with good courage to the final eighth, then tired. HAPS PAL raced evenly and could never reach a threatening position. LIVERYS COP showed good early speed, then dropped well back. DAISY SEEN tired badlv after showing early speed. QUEENS BARGE, far back early, was steered to the outside going down the back stretch the second time around, moved up swiftly entering the final eighth, took command a sixteenth out and, under a drive, came on to win going away. PERHOBO, alertly handled, took command soon after the start, drew away steadily in the first half mile and held her advantage to the last eighth, then tired, but was best of the others. LITTLE RUSTLER was very slow to settle into stride, responded to punishment after reaching the final quarter mile to finish fastest. MICHIYA, showing good early speed, raced in second position to midway of the far turn, then tired. VALDINA RIA showed eood speed for a half mile, then dropped well back. OCEAN BOUND took the lead after going a quarter and, under mild urging rounding the final turn, drew away to win by a wide margin. JIMMIE TOM, unable to keep up early, closed a big gap entering the final eighth while saving ground and was going strongly at the end, but was no match for the winner. ANOPHELES, well up for a quarter, dropped back rounding the second turn, then was steered to the outside and closed gamely under a drive. RED BERRY raced evenly and was never able to threaten the leaders. VERY TRUE also raced evenly. CHIEFS BOY made a strong bid entering the far turn, then tired. Won driving; second and third the same. BROWN MATE, outrun in the first half, closed swiftly on the outside rounding the stretch and, under a drive, came nn to win going away. MILITARY SAND was sent to the front at once, Set the pace to midway of the final eighth, then tired when the winner challenged. MR. INFINITY, always within striking distance of the pace, made a strong bid entering the final eighth, but soon gave up and just lasted to save the show. VEGAS JUSTICE closed some ground after going a half mile, but was never able to threaten the first two. MOSELEM could never get up. IDLE SUN closed some ground in the last quarter while saving ground. THREE BANGS showed some early speed. CHI tired badly after displaying good early speed. DARBY DALLAS, always within striking distance of the leaders, was rushed up between the leaders after reaching the stretch and, under a drive, got up to win narrowly. RUGGED ROCK, a forward factor throughout, closed strongly on the inside in the final eighth to get the place in the last stride. DONNAGINA, well up from the start, showed in front entering the stretch by a short margin, but failed to hold the first two in the final drivp. AMBO closed gamely In the last quarter, but could not get up. BUSS also closed some ground. CHERRIKO was used up in making the early pace and was tiring badly at the end. LACTOSE, a forward factor in the" early stages, took command after going the first half and, under mild urging, drew away going down the back stretch the second time around, continued on and won as the rider pleased. CHOCOLATE MAID, well back for the first half, moved up steadily while racing on the outside, finished gamely in the final drive, but was no match for the winner. KINGS ERROR, very slow to settle into stride, closed much ground in the last quarter and got up in the last few strides to get the show. HONEY SEAT took command going to the first turn, set the pace for a half, then tired. SPEEDY SQUAW was never a serious factor, MANHUNT raced in spots.
