Whirlaways Richest Derby LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 1.— The greatest sum ever to go to a winner of the Kentucky Derby was the 1,275 which Whirl-away took down as his share of the spoils here a year ago. The year before, Galla-hadion earned 0,150 for his victory. The most meager prize was the ,850 which went to Aristides for winning tha first Derby in 1875.
