BARDY took command at once, drew clear after disposing of TRUE WARRIOR, then held sway under light urging and was put to strong handling when tiring, then finished with nothing left. MOLASSES MIBS moved forward after five sixteenths, offered several mild bids, then failed to menace the winner and held on well. SCARCANTER worked his way forward on the outside and closed with a rush. STREAMER made up ground. TINY TRICK raced very wide. CRIMSON LANCER was unable to keep up. SIR MOWLEE had no mishaps. Start good from stall gate. Won easily; second and third driving. HASTEVILLE, fast to begin and steadied when outrun, raced into command with a rush and, drawing clear swiftly, won with something to spare. ADROIT established a clear lead rapidly, set a keen pace, was unable to withstand the winner and tired near the end. PROPOSE picked up his field steadily and closed with a rush. CAN TIME, a factor from the start, held on well. PLUCKY TEDDY drifted out in the drive. BUDGETEER was unable to keep up. HUINCA LOO lost ground early. ARIEL BEAM, rushed into contention and taken in hand when outrun, responded to strong urging when straightened for the drive, wore down the leaders in rapid style and won drawing away. VALDINA BIEN, under strong handling from the start, forged to the front entering the stretch, was unabel to draw clear, but held on well. CITY MAN, forced to lose ground when racing forwardly, tired in the last stages. SOUTH DRIVE took command under hustling tactics, gave way when challenged and tired. ZACABRAND lost much ground. MR. CHERRYDALE took command under energetic riding, set a sizzling pace, was bothered by ONE LINK in the stretch, but, much the best, came again to outfinish him. ONE LINK, steadied early, moved up when ready, was permitted to bear over on the winner in the drive and, thus benefited, forged to* the front, but was unable to hold the winner. STEEL BEAM, a factor from the start, held on well. PETES BET, shuffled back soon after the start, came fast when clear and tired. ASK AUNT ADA was unable to keep up and drifted out in the drive. BATH, slow to start and reserved early, moved to the leaders in steady style, took command leaving the ninth brush, established a big lead rapidly, Increased his advantage without need of pressure and was eased up after reaching the straightaway. COTTESMORE dropped back after a fast start, raced well back until entering the thirteenth jump, improved hi» position rapidly thereafter and finished strongly. REDLANDS fenced well, made up ground, but tired. OSSABAW was a strong factor until leaving the thirteenth jump, where he began to tire. CADDIE made up ground. BOOJUM II. held a good lead for a mile and then tired. ELKRIDGE was unable to keep up. GOOD CHANCE fell at the fifteenth jump when racing well back. Scratched— 18777 Rouge Dragon, 141. SHE DAST, forced wide early, responded to strong handling in the drive and finished well. GONDALINA moved forward on the inside after a slow beginning and tired. PET raced wide to the stretch and came to the inside thereafter, but failed to threaten. MOONDRIFT was unable to keep up. RACKATACK was outrun. TIME SHEET, steadied early, took command with a rush, drew clear after disposing of GENTLE SAVAGE, responded to strong urging when tiring and withstood WELL ALLRIGHT. The latter worked his way forward on the outside, was sent to the inside after entering the stretch and finished strongly. GENTLE SAVAGE, under good urging from the start, was unable to withstand the winner, but held on well. RANGER II. came from well back and on the outside. BLOCKADER was unable to keep up. THRIFT SHOP, going in his best form and under steadying restraint while closely attending the pace, responded well when called upon was put to strong pressure after being straightened in the drive and wor down ESCOLAR in th last stride. The latter improved his position on the inside, forged to the front leaving the back stretch, was unable to draw clear and tired in the last stride. EXPLORATION came fast on the outside. LEGAL LIGHT closed with a rush. LER-LIN tired after improving his position. STAR CHARTER was unable to keep up. SPANQ was outrun. FAIR HERO was done after five-eighths. NICK quit badly in the drive.
