Lauck, an enthusiastic racing fan, maintains a modest stable, and he has a three-year-old, Lums Pride, whom he made eligible for the Kentucky Derby. The Arkansas comedian raced most of his horses in California until the forced cessation there and now he is planning an extensive eastern campaign after the close of the Churchill Downs season.
