Heads of Service Branches To Accept War Relief Gifts CRETE, 111., May 29. Capt. E. A. Lofquist of the Ninth Naval District and Col. Edward Roth, Jr., of the Sixth Corps Area will be at Lincoln Fields tomorrow afternoon to accept 5,000 each for the War Relief Funds of their respective branches of the service. These amounts will be gifts of the Lincoln Fields Jockey 1 Club and presentation will be made by Stuyvesant Feabody, president of the track, immediately after the running of the Francis S. Peabody Memorial Handicap, the sixth race on the holiday program. The presentation will be part of a ceremony during which Peabody will also turn over to John J. Craddock of the Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company a check in the amount of 0,000 for the pur- 1 chase by the Lincoln Fields Jockey Club of War Bonds.
