Temporary Scarcity of Riders Seen at Fairmount Park Oval COLLINSVILLE, 111., May 29. For the first time in many years there seems to be a scarcity of jockeys at Fairmount Park. However, with the completion of the Beulah Park meeting tomorrow, the local riding colony is expected to swell the early part of next week, with reinsmen arriving from the Ohio track as well as the Chicago area. Already on the grounds and ready to accept mounts, are the veterans J. Juarez, D. Trombley, A. Lo Turco, N. Jemas, F. Thacker, W. Cassity, H. All-gaier, R. Montgomery, W. L. Johnson, A. Carr, R. G. Cooper, W. Cornay, J. Stamp-fel, D. Scurlock, H. Derden, C. Beasy and R. J. Jones. Among the novices expected to swing into action are L. Pierce, M. Duhon, S. Anifantis, S. Freeman, W. Brinson, D. Packwood, R. W. Reeves, W. Humes, J. Badali, C. Longa and C. Basham.
