Charles E. Perkins Dead SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 21. — Charles E. Perkins, 62, one of Californias most noted breeders, passed away in a hospital here Saturday night of virus pneumonia. He had been in ill health a month. Perkins is survived by his widow, Mrs. Isabel McGunnegle Perkins; a son, Charles E. Perkins, Jr., recently released from a prison camp in Italy after having been captured with a medical unit in Africa, and a younger son, Kenneth, who attends school in Santa Barbara.
