DAY AND NIGHT, a factor from the start diitted out vlicblly at the stretrh turn, then came fast when straightened and was much the best of the other*, hut failed to menace the winner. LITTLE MINX eained a prominent position swijtly and held on well. DANGER, away slowly, worked her wav up steadily and doled with a tush. FOXHOLE was in .lose quarters at the turn, hut cam !ast when dear, then tired. ANTI-AIRCRAFT broke slowly and passed tiling horses in the drive. ESOOLAR, reserved early, saved ground when raring forward and tired. SUPREME IDEAL established a eood lead swiftly, gave way to the winner and drifted out in the drive. HOT IRON was done after five eighths. FAJRHA1RFD BOY dwelt at the start, was rushed forward before settling into his best stride and tailed to threaten. TRANSBYE and MANILA BAY were outrun. BURGOOLETTE dropped back at the far turn, but came again in the drive and was under strong urging while racing on the inside. KING I.EROY moved up with a rush, but was inclined to bear out. and tired. EN1SCORTHY finished on the inside. The latter, slowest to begin and far back until reaching the stretch, was inclined to bear in in the drive, but was gaining on the winner at the end. SALES TALK improved his position steadily and finished under strong hand riding. HARVARD SQUARE was impeded approaching the turn, but held on well. SOME CHANCE met interference early and lost much ground entering the Wretch. SIGNATOR showed little. OVERDRAWN was a factor for a half mile. BLUE PENNANT opened up a good lead suittly and, responding well when challenged, was kept under strong pressure to hold ALL HOSS safe at the end. The latter dropped back after going a quarter and. moving up when ready, drifted out in the drive, then tired after offering a bold bid midway of the stretch. BOBS DREAM worked his way up steadily and, sent to the inside approaching the stretch, finished strongly. DANDY FOX was weakly handled and was blocked when he attempted to come between horses in the diive. JOHNNY JR. had good speed for a half mile. LAST GOLD was unable to keep up.
