Breaks Leg in Chase Race STANTON, Del., June 26. Jerome Fendricks Lechlade, a, seven-year-bid son of Royal Dancer, broke a leg just before the final fence in todays steeplechase event and was humanely destroyed. Lechlade was a winner of his last race over the local course. In todays race he was a factor from the start and might have been in the money picture at the end but for this mishap.
