MAGNESIUM, held in early restraint, improved his position when called upon and cot tip from along the rail at the finish. ONE LINK dueled with JAY STEVENS, was not quite good enough to overhaul the latter and just missed lasting after petting to the front. SWEET OLGA came forwaid well, hung after going to the leaders, but came again in the drive. WAR COMMUNIQUE lost ground throughout. VAIN CAPTAIN was briefly prominent. JAY STEVENS was used up setting the earlv pace under pressure. TANGOWER LEE was done earlv. FOULARD and MATAB showed nothing. GLENWOOD BOY quit. Overweight — One Link. 3 pounds.
