LOACHAPOKA took command at once, drew clear eradually and won ridden out. TETTINGTON. slow to get conic, closed with a rush on the outside. SKEAN finished with a rush. ELLEN VALJEAN moved up menarinely on the turn, but tired thereafter. MAGIC STEP tired after showing early speed. HAIRAN BEST trailed early, was hard ridden in the closing test and showed a cood effort. LERNERETTE tired. ClRLER had no mishaps. Scratched— 77246 Her Highness, 110. IRON SHOT jumped well throughout, was saved olf the pace for a mile, moved into serious contention and wore down ROCGE DRAGON under strong handling. The latter raced in the first flight from the *tart. fenced faultlessly and held on eamely. ELKRIDGE! raced well, rallied mildly, but did not menace. MERCATOR was hard pressed while making the pare for more than a mile and weakened. BURMA ROAD overtook only weary horses in the last half mile. BILL COFFMAN hobbled badly at the first obstacle, recovered well, but tired after moving up. FLOATING ISLE landed poorly at the first fence, almost went dovrn at the econd and failed to reach contention after recoverine. ROYAL ARCHER was well rated for a mile and a half, moved up menacingly thereafter and was goine well when he lost rider nt the eleventh jump. NOONDAY SUN raced forwardly i placed on the outside early, assumed command entering the stretch, drew clear rapidly and, under strong punishment, held MAE CASE. The latter dropped back while in close quarters on the inside early, moved well under pressure in the closing test, but could not overtake the winner. MILKWHITE set the pace under J itout restraint, held on well to the late stretch, then flattened out. ABRASION loomed dangerous on the •utside in the early stretch, but had nothing in reserve in the closing test.
