l ; 4 Jeep May Miss Dwyer AQUEDUCT, L. I.. N. Y.. June 27.— Trainer L. T. Ruff reported this morning that the Wood Memorial winner, Jeep, may miss the Dwyer Stakes. The Whitney colorbearer came out of the Belmont Stakes with a fever of 105. A physic ball was administered and the colt will be given several days rest. No traces of coughing were in evidence and when the colt paraded postward for the Belmont, he did not display the nervous tension of a thoroughbred at his best. In the running he failed to display his wonted stretch rush.
