Respingo Set Track Records DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 1. — Another Argentine-bred campaigner may make his presence felt on the eastern racing scene before the conclusion of the 1946 racing season. Trainer Charles Felt-ner, who handles the racers of Gustave Ring, has a good looking five-year-old in his care in the highly regarded Respingo. Here in the country only about nine weeks, Respingo was purchased by Ring for a sum reported to have been in the neighborhood of 0,000. While campaigning in the Argentine, Respingo set two track records and scored convincingly over Biscailuz, the Latin-American who defeated Ellis in the recent Havre de Grace Handicap at the Maryland course. Respingo, while he shipped well, is not expected to make a public appearance until the new Jersey season.
