VELOCITY MISS had speed in spots and held on willingly. BIG AFFAIR rallied from far back and showed good speed through the stretch. KNIGHTS HURRY weakened. DISCERNING EYE showed nothing. AWASHONKS was under steadying restraint while within striking distance of the leaders, responded when roused and wore down the leader under intermittent pressure. LAGALLA displaced POMPEY CORNERS when ready, held sway until challenged by the winner, but could not last. PUNCHDRUNK was best of the others. STOLEN KISS was steadied early, but failed to rally under pressure. OMASHANE showed nothing. POMPEY CORNERS quit to a walk after being displaced. THIRD RACE 3-4 MILE out of chute. CHEESESTRAW, slow to settle into stride, was well handled while improving his position between horses and moved through on the inside to wear down TENNESSEE MAID. The latter assumed command at once, drew clear on the turn, then weakened slightly in the drive. TOP BEAU was always forwardly placed, but was not good enough. CAESAR B. was unable to reach serious contention. PARTIDO moved through on the Inside to reach contention early, then weakened. AMPERAGE tired. SIR BOGIE closed willingly from a sluggish start. P0P0 LASS, sluggish through the first half mile, moved into contention with a rush and withstood extended drive of DIXIE SWEEP. The latter moved between horses while improving his position boldly, then hung after reaching the leader. BALLISTIC dropped back rounding the final turn, then came again in the final test, passing only tired horses. GAYWARD had no excuse. HATTIE K. dropped back when she attempted to drift out on the first turn. TRUE DREAM weakened. TRAVANCORE was through after five furlongs. LOGANSPORT went in the air at the break. CALL PROOF was a forward factor throughout, but had nothing in reserve for the closing test. WARY FLIGHT closed with good energy. FLECHETTE closed with belated speed and appears ready for best route race. GRIAN tired in the drive. SNOWGO was used up racing with ONE SUN for a half mile. EDEMGEE failed to rally after racing forwardly placed from the start. VIVI TEDDY faltered under pressure through the stretch. OKAPI LANCER had speed in spots. OVERLIN faltered badly when displaced.
