WAIT A BIT, on the outside and sluggish early, came with a rush at the end. The first three finished in a triple dead-heat for first place. BILL SICKLE was sent into command rounding the far turn, drew away and faltered. APACHE showed early speed, then quit under the weight. JACK S. L. could not keep up. ALQUEST moved up fast on the inside In the stretch, then faltered. ARIEL LAD had early speed. D0UBLRAB was eased up when impeded by a flopping hind bandage. Scratched— 56987 Smart Bet, 97.
