► i : 1 New York Notes | AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 8. Dr. J. G. Catlett has posted Spook Ship on the veterinarians list, meaning that the plater will not be permitted to start again until medical inspection proves satisfactory. While a division of the Maine Chance Farm moved westward, Lord Boswell, Jet Pilot and several others have been kept here to fulfill stakes engagements. Trainer Hollie Hughes reports that the good colt Round View is responding to treatment and rest and that he may possibly return to action at Saratoga. Though the local division of the William Helis stable has been reduced to 10 head, an additional band will be sent here from the Jobstown, N. J., farm next week, ready to race. The Mimosa Stock Farm horses will be shipped to Monmouth Park, N. J., for that meeting from its present quarters at Aqueduct. Trainer Cecil Howard is expected to arrive next week with 10 of the H. C. Hatch horses. Trainer L. E. Ogle resigned as trainer for the Edgehill Stable horses now in Maryland and arrived here. He has plans to take over some horses here. Trainer Hugh Fontaine registered eight head with the registrar here. C. L. Gerling, who conditions the horses of Mrs. J. G. Smyth, registered three head here. They are Roziante, Capt. Caution and Manor Miss.
