Bailey Rides Four Winners As He Becomes Proud Father AK-SAR-BEN. Omaha, Nebr., June 8 — Jockey William Bailey made a spectacular celebration of a new born baby daughter, by riding four winners on Fridays Ak-Sar-Ben racing program, and becoming the currently leading rider here. The popular hometown boy rode in excellent form, guiding home Gold Clock in the third race. Little Geromo in the fourth, Marching Feet in the sixth, and Coo Case in the seventh. Baileys victories were mostly popular with the public and backed accordingly, with all but Coo Case a favorite, the latter being second choice and returning .40. Bailey unfortunately lost the opportunity of riding six winners out of his seven mounts when Rock Canyon stumbled and threw him just when moving into contention in the first race, also Campion Hall in the fifth race appeared a sure winner with better luck, going in the air at the break, and being in tight quarters repeatedly during the running. The winning mounts were a secondary feature to Bailey however, the big occasion being the arrival of a first born, seven pounds, seven ounces baby girl. The birth occurred early Friday morning, with both mother and infant reported going excellently. Bailey ha* been married to his childhood sweetheart for shortly over a year, and returned here for his childs birth instead of remaining at his new home in Inglewood, Calif.
