Acquires McPhees Contract HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., June 8 — Dave Feldman, local turf scribe and owner, has signed the apprentice, Ronald McPhee, to* a contract. The youngster can do 101 pounds and his book is being handled by R. J. Bolton. H,e is a lad of wide and varied experience with horses, having previously exercised jumpers on the eastern circuit, riding in the show ring in addition to having accepted 18 mounts on thoroughbreds.
