Bernborough May Come to United States SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 8.— Radio Australia reports today following the victory of Bernborough in the Doomben Cup at Brisbane that the sensational thoroughbred probably will be shipped to the United States to compete in the Santa Anita Handicap next spring. Bernborough, who is Australias latest "wonder horse" and described as "another Phar Lap," carried the crushing impost of 151 pounds over a course of approximately one mile and three furlongs with ease. He came through the middle of the field with an amazing burst of speed to score his tenth consecutive victory and the twenty-first of his career. The purse was about 6,000.
