STINGPRICE, always a forward factor, responded to strong urging and earned a dead-heat. CANNIKIN raced with the pace from the start and held on gmely. BALLAST made up some ground in the closing test. STAR BACK continued on well to close fome ground. SARAWAK closed with a belated rush after being badly outrun. FLANGE showed nothing. DUMJOHN, steadied when outrun by LI MEHOUSE early, assumed the lead when asked, but was no match for the winner. JAB ME, always forwardly placed, failed to rally. WHITE FORD rallied too late.
