Nichols Buys Own Contract HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., June 8.— Billy Nichols, one of the leading riders in this section last season, but who has been unable to show his best form this year, has purchased his own contract from trainer Monte Weil and has turned first call on his services over to the Lombardo Stable.
