SHUT EYE, raced wide from the opening quarter, moved up on the inside of several horses soon after reaching the stretch, then forced his way to the outside to come around the leaders and, overtaking SANDSLINGER, drew out. The latter took command while in hand and held on well, but was not good enough. SPOON BREAD, strongly restrained to the stretch, closed resolutely. WIRE QUEST weakened after racing well to the last three-sixteenths TUTELO was tiring when lightly impeded in the drive. SO PROUDLY weakened suddenly after showing speed to the last three-eighths.
