Fernandez Taken to Hospital AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 10*— Jockey E. Fernandez, who took a spectacular spill from J. McCall Marshalls Gala-cry at the first hurdle in the third race at Aqueduct today, was taken to Physicians Hospital, Jackson Heights, where he is being kept under observation for possible head injuries. The boy saile dthrough the air as Galacry crashed through the edge without jumping and rolled over several times, ending in a sitting position. He was quickly lifted into the waiting ambulance and rushed to the hospital.
