George Lisco, Jockey G. Souths Agent, Veteran of 42 Missions HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., June 10.— George Lisco, who is acting as agent for the gsod rider, George South, is a veteran of 42 m scions over Germany and in France. The Chicago veteran was in the Air Corps for five years and was decorated with the Belgian Croix de Guerre, the Bronze Star, and six battle stars. He was agent for South before he went into service. Lisco reports that the good horse Fighting Step came out of his race in the Suburban in fine shape. He said that because of the strike that threatened Belmont Park at the time, he was forced to keep the horse in a one-horse van from 10 a. m. to almost post time and that the colt consequently broke out into a sweat for the first time of his career.
