Suffolk Stnkes to Lure Segula, Helioptic, Air Rate, Heres How SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass. June 10. — Racing secretary John P. Turner has received word from several owners and trainers relative to their plans for horses nominated for stakes at this meeting. Trainer Harris Brown has informed him that W. Goadby Loew*s Helioptic, winner of the Rogers Williams Handicap at the recent Narragansett meeting, probably will be shipped here to fill his engagement in the 0,000 Massachusetts Handicap which will feature the Suffolk Downs program on the fourth of July. Trainer James Fitzsimmons has informed Turner that the Belair Studs Segula, a nominee for the 5,000 Hannah Dustin Handicap, mile and a sixteenth event for fillies and mares which will feature the card on Saturday, June 15, will be shipped to fill her engagement in that event if she continues to train well. Trainer Ralph Lentini, who conditions the string of Fred Wyse, stated today that his good colt, Air Rate, and his good filly Heres How are coming up to their stakes engagements in good style. The Roman — Sun Agnes filly is named for the 0,000 Betsy Ross Stakes, five and a half furlongs event for two-year-old fillies, which will be run oa Saturday, June 22. Air Rate is nominated for the 0,000 Massachusetts Handicap and Lentini hopes to have him ready for that event.
