W0G went to the front early, gave way momentarily to LAZY MAID approaching the stretch, but came again when roused and, after disposing of the latter, held FOMENT safe. FOMENT, outrun badly to the upper turn, came to the inside for the drive and finished strongly under punishment. LAZY MAID, a keen factor from the beginning, reached the lead after three-quarters, but faltered when set down for the stretch run. SAY NOMORE had no mishap. HEMBOSS tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. TIME UP was outrun. SLY MANNER held on well to the final furlong, then tired. JUST TOURIST began slowly. SWAIN had good speed from the beginning, but dropped back after a half and pulled up lame. PERSIFLAGE was done early.
