Arcaro Purchases Airplane AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 15. Jockey Eddie Arcaro is the latest member of the local jockey colony to purchase an airplane. The Greentree Stable rider will take possession of a new type Cessna over the week-end. He will use the plane for commuting trips between Belmont Park and nearby out-of-town meetings, to fulfill riding engagements. Ira Reed acted as purchasing agent.
