Mares With Foals Back Home BURTON, Texas, June 15. Dr. Alvis E. Greer, Houston surgeon, who owns Maidal thoroughbred nursery here, reported that the five broodmares and four foals he had in Kentucky were now back home. The shipment was in charge of Tommy Thompson, veteran Fort Worth van man. Dr. Greer also reported that Lady Justus, his crack quarter mare who he acquired from the George family at Richmond, Texas, foaled a stud colt.
