Riders Suffer Broken Legs FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., June 15. Jockey Roberto Gonzalez and exercise boy Ralph Placinto each suffered a broken right leg: in an accident during training hours this morning. Gonzalez was astride Kurkjian and Dilgers John Q. Public, who wheeled to the inside fence as the T. D. Buhl pair Cleaned and Beau Fiddle were working past. Placinto, who was galloping Cleaned, and Gonzalez were both thrown heavily in the resultant collison and were rushed to Highland General Hospital. Pete Kaiser, who was astride Beau Fiddle, was uninjured. John Q. Public and Beau Fiddle were unhurt, but Cleaned received a cut on the right front ankle.
