Wow Provides Surprise In Sportsmans Victory Turns Back Favored Jesting Fox Following Stirring Stretch Duel SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 2. — Wow, racing for Anthony Ferrera, of New Orleans, was at home in the slow going to provide an upset when he was victor in the featured Englewood Purse at this West Side course today. The winner, ridden by Gilberto Olivera, came from back of the pack to stage a duel in the early stretch with Jesting Fox, 2 to 5 choice from the stable of W. T. Beezley, and lead that rival to the wire by a length and a half at the end of the six and a half furlongs test. A similar distance farther back Lightfoot Lady, stablemate of Jesting Fox, was third in the field of eight. Jesting Fox and Lightfoot Lady went out to have things their own way in the Englewood, but Wow moved into third place with a rush when the leaders were straight on the backstretch. Here the less-highly regarded of the entry, Lightfoot Lady, was showing the way, but when Wow was sent up on the outside to challenge them for leadership on the far turn, Jesting Fox took up the burden and was sent along to match this bid. Around the final turn, Jesting Fox, on the inside, and the eventual winner raced as a team, and Lightfoot Lady could not keep up. This stiff duel saw the leading pair entering the home lane in close alignment,
