GLENNPORT trailed the field early, moved up with a rush on the outside in the backstretch, swung around on the outside for the drive and drew clear without being fully extended. RAFFLE HOUSE was a stout contender from the beginning, took a brief lead between calls on the final turn while saving ground, but could not resist the winner. GOLD CALL went to the front after a half mile and held on well. BLACK RA was unable to engage the leaders. DEVILS BREW could not improve her position. UNITRAN was never prominent. DIZZY HEIGHTS moved into command in the backstretch, was steadied in front while saving ground and just failed to last. PHANTOM TOWN moved into contention quickly on the inside after being blocked early and held on well. TOWN HALL was steadied off the pace, moved up threateningly to challenge on the stretch turn, then weakened. KARLS BEST had good early speed, but flattened out after challenging stoutly in the backstretch. BILLIES CHOICE raced on the outside.
