Won driving; second and third the same DEVILSAND saved to the stretch, went to the inside for the drive, took command and outlasted LITTLE MONARCH The latter came willingly when set down for the drive, but was not good enough. FORT SCHUYLER disposed of FREE DUCHESS after half a mile, took a good lead, but faltered thereafter. ADENOS lacked early speed, but finished fast DAUBERUP, far back early, closed well. PURITAN began alertly, raced well to the stretch, then tired but finished on even terms with SUEDE. The latter was moving up stoutly after the start when he stumbled and dropping back, failed to menace thereafter. ASK ME propped at the start. FREE DUCHESS showed early speed Scratched— 224144 Snow Kiss, 109. Corrected weight— Free Duchess, 107. Adenos claimed by Mrs. A. M. Creech. Attendance, 8,000 Estimated; Total Mutuel Pool, 08,242. Returned to Public, 57,518, Less Breakage.
