► _ Dark Jungle, Star Reward And Tiger Rebel in Moves CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 10. — Lucas B. Combs Dark Jungle, victor in the 0,000 Churchill Downs Handicap on inaugural day, visited the training track this morning and worked five furlongs in 1:01% handily. The move was satisfactory to trainer John M. Goode and indicated that the Combs star would be a serious factor in future engagements here and in Illinois. Dixianas Star Reward, who gave a creditable performance in the Kentucky Derby, was out for an easy half-mile breeze and completed his task in :49%. Jack Hodgins, Dix-lana trainer, is keeping Star Reward on edge for several Chicago stakes engagements. Brent and Talbots Tiger Rebel, victor in the 5,000 Churchill Downs Special last autumn, made an impressive appearance as he breezed six furlongs in 1:16%. H. G. Jones First Flight, who accounted for the 1946 renewal of the Kentucky Oaks, breezed three-quarters in 1:18% and she was not asked for high speed at any stage of her move.
