Horses to Watch Horses who impressed Daily Racing Form representatives as being ready to win: LINCOLN FIELDS t LIBERTY JR. — This is a cheap but very ] game sprinter who is right on edge at present. Just a question of proper placing. RADIO JOE — Morning trials show that this one is ready for the question. Likes to sprint and belongs with ,000 company. OLD WESTBURY— Encountered trouble in recent race, which can be disregarded. A ,000 sprinter. MIAMI ROSE — There should be a three-year-old race to suit this one. The Car-laris filly is from a good stable and will sprint up to seven furlongs with ,500 opposition. WILLIS E. — This speedster will be hard to beat over a fast track. Belongs in allowance races. MRS. VALENTI — Was carried very wide in recent engagement and had no chance. Connections will find a suitable spot. SWELL CHANCE — Fit as can be made now. Likes to go a distance and is suited with ,000 company. DELORAH — Showed definite improvement and may be ready next trip postward. Likes to sprint in ,000 class. VALDINA DATE — Tab this one for a muddy track. Sprinter who should turn back ,000 opposition. IMPENETRABLE — Missed a close decision when well meant. Likes a distance for a ,000 claiming tag. MISS TEXAS — A fast sprinter who is in clever hands and is right on edge. CALM SEAS — Apparently needed last race to complete conditioning. Can and will do better. HOT DAYS — Has been carefully brought , to peak condition after a rest. Should be heard from soon. DARBY DEIRDRE — This one in good hands and is ready for any distance. TED MOSQUERO— Always doing his best and needs only racing fortune to get home. FIRE DUST — Clockers have this one tabbed for first outing. BULLISH— Has done all that was asked of him in trials and should score at first asking. CHURCHILL DOWNS CAPSICUM — Ordinary plater has been showing improvement and should win a purse before close of Kentucky spring season. JACKS CREEK — Maiden two-year-old colt is due for early graduation. Gave good effort in recent start behind Free America. PAM — Maiden three-year-old filly closed fast when sent one mile and a sixteenth, and she is eligible to good spot. ETERNAL REWARD — Stake star, holds top form and recently worked five furlongs in 1:02, handily. SANDSLINGER— Stepped a mile in 1:43, handily, and he probably will go post-ward here in overnight allowance test. GRAFAIRCHAN— Never was better and he is a capable sort when matched with ,500 class sprinters on fast track. CIVIL GIRL — Better-than-average plater with touch of class, should earn a purse here against ordinary company, and prefers fast footing. WHIRL BLAST — Calumet juvenile, may make one more start in Kentucky this spring, and recent works are sharp. PORTERFIELD — Raced smartly during his 1946 campaign, and he worked three-quarters in l:14y5, handily. TEEGREETZA— Useful sprinter when not pitched too high, is capable of defeating ,500 platers on muddy or dry course. LUXEMBOURGER— May have needed recent race in which he finished third, and should improve off that effort. BENGAL BOY— Speedy sort from winning stable, and he has been meeting top class company in sprints. PURITAN — Improved router can handle muddy or dry footing and he belongs with ,500 rivals at one mile and a sixteenth. GOLDEN MAN — Displayed high speed in only start here this season, and should earn a purse before the closing of the : present meeting. GOOD SON— Hard-hitting sprinter; always gives his best and should be right there next time out against better grade i sprinters. JACKS JILL — Hawthorne Gold Cup winner, has been training cleverly and she may be under colors in Downs closing day feature. SUFFOLK DOWNS SCARLET VLXEN— A fleet juvenile who should graduate from the maiden ranks in next outing. The filly won her last, but was disqualified when rider became over-anxious and allowed her to cut over after getting to front. KNOW HOW — Needs only proper placing to win brackets here. Is capable of handling ,000 sprinters. JOES SUN— A cheap sprinting affair will find this one hard to beat. Has been training smartly during morning hours. IPP — A promising sophomore non-winner who showed decided improvement last t ] , BELMONT PARK ROSINANTE — Was bothered while racing on the inside in last start, but finished well. NAVY AWARD — Raced on outside from the start, only to tire at the end. Can improve. PATROL — Came through on the inside in initial start and improvement can be expected over that effort. FOREVER FAIR — Raced well in debut and improvement can be expected with racing. WAR DATE — A top-notch campaigner who should show to better advantage in next start. ALADEAR — Broke in a tangle last time out and then finished last. Should earn brackets before long. DEEP TEXAS— Last race can be disregarded. Unseated rider and ran away before start. TELK — This one worked well and with a race over the strip will show to better advantage. DONOR — A good finisher who should improve over initial start at this meeting. VALKARINE— Worked well and should show to better advantage next time out. Had little chance at start in debut. CAROLYN A.— This miss should show decided improvement in next start. GOBLIN — A drop in classification will suit this fellow, a good stretch runner. MANGONEO — Closed with a rush from a slow beginning in last. May show to better advantage with racing. SHIFTY MAE— Down on the inside in deeper footing in last start and then tired. FRIO QUEST— Was sent through on the inside in deeper footing in last start and then tired. Should improve. CURVACEOUS — Should improve over debut which was good. HAVRE DE GRACE OUT O THE SUN— Racing debut was impressive, indicating an early graduation from the maiden ranks. WAR WATCH— Did not particularly fancy the Pimlico strip and should show to better advantage here. LEE CIRLE— Last race was not too bad and vast improvement can be expected next out. SHIP AHOY — Lone race this season and recent training moves indicate this one is on edge for an early victory. FENTY O. — Should never have been beaten last time out. Capable of beating 0,000 sprinters. GULL AH — Showed improvement in last effort and appears ready for a set of brackets. BLACK GANG— This sprinter is hard to whip over the local course and should knock out a purse or two. CITATION— This son of Bull Lea may be one of the better juveniles in the Maryland division of the Calumet Farm string. GUIGNOL — Has had many chances but rates one more call after turning in a creditable race in last after meeting early interference. LICTOR — Won impressively for his new owner at first asking and should make It two in a row. AIR PATROL— His race in the Toboggan was very impressive and he has always been partial to this strip. CAB SIR — Has been well - prepped by trainer Hatfield and may win at a price. THE PENNY — This untried juvenile has shown enough in morning dashes to indicate an early victory. RIAR RED — Has been brought along steadily by trainer Royal Roberts and is about ready to make an appearance in the entries. YESNOW — Raced well at six furlongs during the Pimlico meeting and appears best suited at that distance. : i outing to indicate a winning performance is at hand. ROYAL EDGE — Failed in last due to early interference. May make amends real soon. EDGAR B. — From a winning barn and if last is any indication, brackets are in order. KENGAR — Weak handling may have cost this fellow a purse in his last. Watch for stronger boy to keep him going during early stages. WARRIOR PRINCE— Disliked heavy going in last. May catch a fast track and defeat same company. LIBERTY ANDY— A greatly improved colt who is at peak form. Is capable of holding his own with the better of his class here. FOXWICK — Steady improvement shown by this Fighting Fox colt points to an early score. INVASION WOOD— Raced greenly in debut, but with that effort serving as experience, the MacDonald Stables color-bearer should not tarry in the maiden ranks. PUT AND TAKE— A good-looking son of Perpetuate that scored impressively in his last. May retain his winning ways if properly placed. BILL HARDEY — A handicap performer that is being carefully returned to top form. Recent trials indicate the son of Grand Slam will be ready when sent out. BEULAH PARK ATTORNEY JOE — A sprinter of allowance caliber who should go well over this course. SPECTATOR— In good hands and usually earns his way each season. HUNCH — This veteran sprinter revels in mud. Has been training well and could score at first asking. ECOWAY — A route of ground is best suited. Can handle mud or dry and promises to go well over this oval. OUR BESS — Speed is this ones forte. Has trained in a manner which indicates she might score early. LUCKY TOMMY— Mud moves this veteran Tommy Boy product way up. Runs good when fresh. SILVER BULL— Should see action with the better sprinters quartered here. Morning trials are impressive. FANDANGLE— Cheap but capable of handling ,500 routers. Has been turned out, but appears ready. GOOD BOBBY— A consistent sort who campaigns with ,500 company. TALKED ABOUT— Has gone way back but still retains a touch of class. Although 12 years old, he scored four straight here last fall. SAM G. — A plater, but morning trials indicate he is sound and capable of earning a purse soon. IRISH ABBIE— Earl Roberts has this veteran router in top shape. SUNNY LASS— Raced but once as a two-year-old last season. Is reported to possess an abundance of speed.
