Leach to Sub in Stand CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 10. — When director of racing Samuel H. McMeekin departs for the Lincoln Fields-at-Hawthorne meeting, George B. Leach, Downs public relations director, will move into the stewards stand. Leach is no newcomer to the official staff, having served as a steward here during the 1946 Spring meeting.
