ETERNAL LARK was hustled along from the beginning, raced true and held his company safe at the end. ANDY HANDY, on the inside and under pressure, finished with determination. WORD OF HONOR showed speed and held on well to the end. FLEET BOSS had no mishap. BAMBUCO finished well under urging. MAKE-UP MAN, on the outside, showed a good effort. ROYAL CHANCE swerved in the running. QUICKSET, on the inside, could not menace the leaders. STRIKER PILOT was bumped at the start. BACK DROP raced greenly. BULL ME had early speed. HYBLAZE was close up from the start, came to the inside of the leader for the stretch run, assumed command and drew away. NATHANIEL was steadied along in front and showed speed throughout, but could not stave off the winner. STAGE KID worked his way up steadily, made a determined bid rounding the stretch turn and hung. COLUMN was unable to menace the leaders at any stage. GAY SONG was well up throughout and quit. RINALDO showed a good effort CHILDERIC was outrun. HEMLOCK dropped back after the start. MAT jumped well and was steadied In the early running, moved up fast going to the final fence, then assumed command and drew away. TREASURY was sent into command, showed speed, bobbled at several fences and, under urging, could not stave off the winner. JACK SPRAGGON jumped well, but failed to menace the leaders when urged. ON THE HALF came through on the inside in the stretch run, responded to pressure to wear down the leaders and drew away. BLUNT REMARK, on the outside and a prominent factor, held on well to the end. CHANCE NICK dropped back after the beginning, improved his position on the inside rounding the stretch turn, then began to drift out. SIS ROSIE was a prominent factor all the way and had no mishap. STAGE MOTHER was quick to begin, was sent through on the inside on the stretch turn and finished well. CAPT. FLAGG was a prominent factor from the beginning while racing on the outside and held on well. NOBLE CREEK was close up from the beginning and had no mishap. FLASHCO was never a factor. BROWN MOGUL was steadied along in the running, made a determined bid rounding to the stretch turn, was blocked and finished stoutly when clear. GALLORETTE improved her position when urged and was going strongly in the stretch when bumped by BUZFUZ, then swerved toward the outside to bump the winner. BUZFUZ was a prominent factor from the beginning, but tired in the final furlong. PAV0T had no mishap. PELLICLE was never a formidable factor. VERTIGO II. was outrun. LETS DANCE could not menace the leaders when roused. KING DORSETT tired after showing the early pace. COINCIDENCE was never a strong factor. THE SHAKER, on the inside, could not keep up. JACKAMINE was sent up on the outside rounding the stretch turn, and was going strongly when impeded. HACHAZO was steadied along in the running, shook off PETROL POINT turning for home and tired. The latter was sent into command rounding to the stretch turn, drew away into a safe lead, but tired badly in the final sixteenth. BLACK SWAN raced forward*/ from the start and had no mishap.
