LUXEMBOURGER, hustled to keep within striking distance, responded to punishment in the drive and was up in the final yards MAEMAB went to the front soon after the start, was bumped by GOOD SON midway of the stretch, then could not withstand the winner. GOOD SON, prominently placed from the beginning, moved to MAEMAB in the final furlong lugged in badly, then came again when he recovered. ADMIRALS AIDE finished well on the outside PATRlCIA B made up some ground in the drive. HAND TORCH performed evenly. WESTFIELD quit FERGIES ONE raced very wide entering the stretch.
